Cloud computing

Cloud computing occurs when you use an internet connection to access software, data, services, or platforms that are maintained by third parties on their computer systems.  Cloud computing is growing by leaps and bounds. It has been estimated that the global market for cloud computing will grow to $241 billion by 2020. If you have ever used Gmail, Hotmail, or Yahoo mail as an e-mail provider, you have used the cloud. If you have ever stored or shared photos using Flickr, Shutterfly, or I-phone storage, you have used the cloud. Anyone who has watched YouTube videos, movies from Netflix, or television shows on Hulu, or used Wikipedia, has accessed information that is stored on the cloud. Businesses are using it a lot as well.
